Valuable Digital Marketing Trends That Cannot Be Ignored in 2020
Digital marketing has always been around the corner of innovation and success. The format of marketing that it carries forward links a lot with new-age trends that have occurred over the course of time. By acknowledging the same, you can carry on your marketing campaign and raise it in the right manner. Although trends are meant for a particular period, there are some that maintain a sense of importance. Regardless of the period, these trends remain relevant and create the right kind of messaging. Hence, to spread more information on such trends, here are them, one by one.
1. Advanced Shopping
The activity of shopping has transformed from stores to e-commerce, and things seem to be heading in a new direction. An excellent example would be Sirlinksalot en Español. This particular trend promotes shopping through image and video posts. To enrich the overall shopping experience, you can view these items by having a look at the video. You can hover around the image by making matters specific. Towards the end, it is your decision that counts.
2. Analysis and Emotions
The emotional analysis tool is another criterion that is clicking on all the right circles. It works when you enter a couple of words on search engines. Once you’re done, the analysis tool begins to run and detects the kind of emotion that you are trying to express. By taking history and other such vital sources, these platforms tend to hit you with emotions.
3. Voice Search
Voice search capabilities may have been around for a long time, but things cannot be forgotten. This advanced medium of search is quite helpful, and people tend to experience the same by all means. Thanks to the impact of this technology, various companies have brought about products that are once again popular. Be it, Alexa or Siri, everyone is here to offer you a solution.
4. Increased Levels of Interactivity
When people find matters to be relatable, they tend to buy it or at least follow them to learn more about the same. This is an essential aspect that marketing couldn’t ignore and thus came up with various levels of interaction. This is made possible through surveys, quizzes, polls, and so on. Once such information is garnered, companies transform their content and make it interactive. As these factors engage individuals, they will understand the need for a particular product.
5. Mobile Optimization
The wave of the smartphone is not going to be ending soon, and it is better for brands to understand that fact. Mobile optimization is an important step that you need to take to make your brand name accessible and secure. People from across the globe should access and understand your services.
The Line of Difference Between Marketing & Advertising
Regardless of the confusion, you need to remember a particular point. Marketing and advertising share similarities but they are not the same. The level of differences between them is enormous, and you need to remember the same. By all means, the field of marketing is vast and understanding their meaning and purpose will help you survive. Once you take these matters into consideration, you can go all around the marketing circle with points of innovation. But for that, you need to analyse and understand fundamental differences. Hence, here’s why marketing and advertising are different.
The Introduction
Advertising is a component of marketing, just like PR, distribution, and so on. So by all means, you can classify advertising to be under marketing since it aims to achieve the latter’s set of objectives. On the other hand, marketing is a huge concept that promotes activities required for the purpose of informing the world about a particular product. It includes various components that aim to achieve the underlined objectives that are at the forefront of marketing. Through time innovation comes into this venture and marketing pays the price for the same.
The Functionality
In terms of functions, advertising begins once marketing has set the right kind of goals. When it comes to functionality, you need to understand that advertising has different types of platforms. Be it visual medium or print advertising; matters tend to go according to the nature of the product. Due to these matters, functionality shares similarities for marketing and advertising. If advertising progresses, then you can be glad about marketing since matters escalate in the same manner. But since marketing talks about the broader picture, it also gains if other sources succeed.
The Impact
The kind of impact that marketing creates depends upon the platform of advertising. If the content in advertising is unique, then you can be glad about your marketing campaigns doing good. But if things do not tag along as planned, then matters will go in the wrong direction. The kind of impact that you had in mind cannot be achieved, and things can also go toward bad publicity. For this purpose, it is essential to make your objectives clear and make them count at all costs.
Conclusion
Once you have understood the main difference between marketing and advertising, you will be clear about things to come. This verified source of knowledge will not lead to confusion, and you can move forward to embrace similarities. Aspects will be looking good, and a career in marketing may not sound like a bad idea. Things can escalate further by transforming business opportunities since most of them tend to thrive on marketing and its long term effects.
Guerrilla Marketing
“When you start to make your offer based on that, you become an enlightened minority and you are already on the path to marketing success – a prerequisite for financial success.”
“The fifteenth secret – richness – reminds us that consumers are smarter than ever before, so you won’t be fascinated by the special effects and specials they have.”
These are two quotes from the first 35 pages of a single book on marketing (as is now customary in the media), which will soon be available in bookstores. What pearls lie in the remaining 312 pages. besides American-style blasphemy and just proofreading?
And, in order not to be accused of sneaking around for nasty translation trivia, let’s give this book a little more so-called richness:
“The information on these pages will direct you to success and warn you of the dangers that can lead to failure. (…) It is good that this marketing is not. Because if there were, then all businessmen would be partisans. In that case, your path to success would be just a sidewalk ride for everyone, not a secret rainbow path that ends with a larger pot of gold than you imagined. ”
WTF? What’s here – an excerpt from the How to Make a Million sect congregation? Neee, this is about guerrilla marketing with rationality, creativity and intuition. Is it still the art of breaking the sh for a good thing? (nothing personal against author JCLevinson).
While we are all well aware, in most cases (except for elections, of course) you can get up to three times.
All I needed was one Lithuanian “Marketing Genius” to put a banner on all the books published by Verslo Žinios (though there were some good ones so far).
And this time I thank the publishers for allowing me to download some of the electronic version and get to know the product before purchasing it – otherwise we would have to fight for consumer rights.
Optimists (who in Lithuania seem to have fallen drastically ) may still try to download the pirated pdf, the original from amazon.com or go to the JCLevinson seminar .
3 rsv Agency Websites
Continuing our initiation of web 2.0 searches on rsv agency websites, Tom Nemura (Gaumina Product Development Manager) will look at 3 web pages before his eyes that he says are mostly web 2.0:
www.actapublica.lt – The site looks like a flyer or survey form, but is a good blog. Translating and commenting on interesting foreign articles, adding pictures, videos, research, appear in a few posts a week.
What would I do if I were a project owner? It was interesting to read the blog, but the link to it on the website is barely visible. I would organize the website and communicate the blog. Thumbs up! Posts are interesting – I didn’t quit writing!
www.vrp.lt – The site is very simple and does not stand out, but a corporate blog is written . The only problem: now the blog resembles an abandoned village in the Chernobyl area. Posts are posted monthly or in pairs, there is no single format – here we find both a long crammed comment and a link to an article in Delphi.
What would I do if I were a project owner? I would standardize the format, put photos, videos, and technical aspects (colors, layout, RSS feeds) instead of text sheets. Posts are already in place, someone is dedicating their time to it, hoping that people will find it interesting and useful. Just make it easier to read and share. It seems there is still a niche among corporate RsV blogs. Perhaps it is worth occupying it?
www.adverum.lt – Skype for employees, link to director posts on the Cafe blog (with 10 to a dozen comments by the way) and a Twitter page that is regularly filled with nearly 200 followers “. Unexpected.
What would I do? More communicative. Now all of these things are cluttered up with contacts, and while browsing the services you can only find information such as “Creating and Managing Public Blogs“, “Implementing Corporate and Marketing Communication Projects on Social Media”. I would do case studies, tell me how I was doing myself. If successful, can social communication and bad be company exclusivity?
Emotional Advertising Drives Sales Twice as well as Rational Ones
Awesome news for an intriguing marketing executive who tells the agency to write down how many grams of myrtol (what is it?) In Gelomyrtol Forte.
Peter Field and Hamish Pringle on their book Brand Immortality:
Our primary data source is the UK Institute of Practitioners in Advertising Effectiveness Awards, which were founded in 1980. The book’s analyzes are based on accumulated learning from 880 case studies from the UK national and international competition.
And here’s the summary:
What the data shows us is that emotional campaigns are almost twice as likely to generate large profits as rational ones, with campaigns that use facts as well as emotions in equal measure fall somewhere between the two.
By the way, the emotional, mixed with the rational, lags behind the emotional not so much.
So what’s not great news for a typical Lithuanian marketer who doesn’t have time to focus solely on creating emotional value and needs sales ASAP?
10 Gaumina Webdunulatory Ideas
The 10 ideas that Gaumina product development manager Tom Nemura had in mind after looking at 40 RsV agency pages:
1. Combine with what you already have. For example, Communication and Consultants has its own Facebook group but is not visible on the site. Maybe you have something to integrate? Is it Skype employees’ addresses, or is it ultimately the same employees who write about current topics in the field. And there really are. It could be a great Win-Win. For the employee, it is recommended to present to current and future clients, and for the company to show their people’s knowledge and knowledge.
2. A newsletter or RSS feed where you can subscribe to written press releases for your customers doesn’t work. If there is nothing to do, you may not need such features at all.
3. If you are blogging or updating content, engage in it. As we have experienced with Onetrouser.com , the great job is not to write good posts (which is a must), but to become visible – to participate in the blogging communities, to bring in the first loyal readers, to interact with them. Therefore, most good wishes for writing a corporate blog end in failure. New posts are coming up, but no more – a bad merdi with a couple of comments. For this, we thought that a blogger should have a host, a person inside or outside the company, who would be responsible for the project and, ideally, be financially motivated depending on its results. When this happens, the results will improve as well.
4. There are people in your company too. Employee interviews, photos from industry events, parties – if useful, it can also be used. Companies are becoming more and more popular in the world, where ordinary people are talking about the company, not the actor who learned the text for TV advertising. Corporate evil is being replaced by real people in the company on Twitter, blog or Facebook – fun, engaging, knowledgeable in their field, and interesting to talk to. You really have to.
5. With a small budget, I thought about whether or not to create a website as a whole. Maybe I would do bad things, put content in separate categories (“about us”, jobs, clients, etc.) and respond to comments. Or play with forms. Last year the advertising agency “ Modernist! ”Shook the world by uploading its description to Wikipedia, works on Flickr, press releases on Delicious.com, and the site simply put links where you can find everything.
6. To look like everyone, make a business card on the Internet, a list of services, a list of clients and put together all client press releases.
7. If you want to stand out, put together quotes from famous people and invite them for a cup of coffee. You will already be divorced from 2/3 as only a third of the websites use these phrases.
8. What makes you different from the other 39 agencies? It may be that the title emphasizes the original texts or texts for the Internet. When working with clients, we often face the problem of getting icy texts for a client’s future website: not promotional texts, not press releases, but texts for the Internet. So far, we’re experimenting with creators, public relations professionals, bloggers. Each time it takes time and you run the risk of getting an uncertain result. Maybe someone should do something? Or maybe somebody is already doing it, but not mentioning it?
9. When you look at websites, you get the impression that online communication doesn’t matter . Why? Because almost no one distinguishes it from services, it does not mention social networking, communication with bloggers. Abroad, there are professionals who live off their online reputation management. It is important not to write positive comments on blogs and praise a client’s company under the cover of nicknames. On the contrary, tracking who is talking about a company on the Internet, answering, helping and solving consumer problems are areas that do not seem to exist in Lithuania yet. Maybe you do something in Lithuania – share!
10. View the list yourself. All sites can be found here . We spent a couple of hours but got the rewards even though we are not even an RsV agency. We also have famous quotes from people on Gaumina. We invented to change them to what our employees themselves said. Every employee knows their area and has something to say. Only website has fewer buttons than employees! A new idea is to create a quote page for the best employees on Twitter and connect with the site. New good ideas will be brought out in real time – the site will live daily with what the team lives on. If you can do it first – your idea!
The Alternative Ranking of Creative Advertising Agencies
To submit alternative rankings for communicators from different fields in one place, we have sent requests to creative advertising agencies to voluntarily submit data about themselves. We sent the letter to both KOMAA and non-KOMAA members, but to creative agencies that provide creative services and whose core creative income.
Shortly after our letter, KOMAA distributed a reminder to its own members that KOMAA members’ earnings data is only shared by all members. Provisions are provisions and we must respect them. Explanations for why not submit data were only sent by MILK and NOT PERFECT. Thank you. Non-KOMAA members – ASTA DESIGN MCCANN ERICKSON, FABRICA and DRAFTFCB provided data.
So, in a nutshell: Creative agencies‘ alternative rating will appear in late March, early April, when KOMAA will announce its own and we will put it all together. With friday.
